Friday 29 September - Sunday 12 November 2023 | 1pm - 8pm | Hexham Abbey
Hexham Abbey is hosting The Museum of the Moon this autumn. Museum of the Moon is a stunning artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram featuring a six-metre wide reproduction of the moon. It has been a huge success worldwide and has been experienced as far afield as Mexico, China, Japan, India and Australia. The installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight and surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Dan Jones.
You can book general entry tickets via Ticketsource -
www.ticketsource.co.uk/hexham-abbey. There's also a series of events built around the Moon such as gigs and astrology nights that you can see on the abbey's website. Please note that the abbey is an active church, so it's best to check for the sessions available before travelling. Advance booking is advised.
