Friday 20th October, Friday 17th November & Friday 8th December | From 7pm | Lord Crewe Arms, Blanchland
Join us in our Gatehouse for an evening of stargazing with Andy Gray. Andy is an expert in his field and will give a beginners’ guide to the starry sky. If the weather is clear, expect a trip to the bottom of our garden to have a look through the telescopes. Wrap up in our blankets and enjoy a hot drink to keep you warm. There will be a hearty stew and a delicious pud to greet you in The Gatehouse afterwards. A great time to see the milky way and the summer triangle. Saturn and Jupiter should be visible before Christmas again this year. The moon is rising by the end of the evening so a good time to spot deep sky objects at the start of the night and the moon at the end.
This ticket includes stargazing with a hot drink followed by a two-course supper. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
The Gatehouse is a 12th Century building accessed via external stone stairs and has steps of various sizes throughout. Please note the Gatehouse is not a dog friendly space.
