The River Till boasts one mile of Salmon, Sea Trout, Grayling and Brown Trout fishing. The 15 different pools offer varied options for fishing abilities. Flat water, streamy sections & good wading opportunities. We provide you with a map of the river with descriptions of the 15 pools.
A dedicated and secure fishing room is provided for all your fishing kit, with a record book & freezer space for the catches! A fishing guide, who knows the river well, can be booked in advance at reasonable rates to help you get familiar with the river Till.
The fishing can be described as “wild” because the surroundings are unspoilt, it is a Site of Special Scientific Interest for plants and wildlife, and is managed accordingly. The fishing spot is situation on Tiptoe Farm, Tiptoe has been awarded “Britain’s Most Beautiful Farm 2006” This award recognises all the environmental work that is carried out on the farm.
The River Till, although in England, is a tributary of the Tweed and is governed by The Tweed Commissioners and the Tweed Angling Code (copy available). An Environment Agency rod licence is therefore not required.
